The Snom PA-1 Public Announcement System in Mombasa Digital Amplifier for broadcasting announcements over 8 ohm speakers.  Snom Kenya has developed a SIP bridge PA1 allowing businesses to prolong their current public announcement speaker system while upgrading from digital/POTs systems into SIP-based voice communication solutions.

The Snom PA-1 in Nairobi can be used in both small and large applications due to the inclusion of a 4-watt amplifier for single speaker projects. A microphone input is delivered for 2-way communication. Larger projects can use multiple speakers driven by external high wattage amplifier. The Snom PA-1 Kenya System serves as an auto SIP answering preamp that drives the multi-speaker setup.  Use of Snom’s proven SIP stack allows extensive compatibility with all SIP platforms.

The Snom PA-1 Public Announcement System comes with a 4W power amplifier which broadcasts announcements of over 8 ohm speakers to deliver crystal clear and audible audio.

Easy User Interface

The Snom PA-1 Public Announcement System offers an easy user Web interface which requires no technical expertise or training. The system is easy to install and operate, and therefore saves its user from time wastage.

Interoperability

The Snom PA-1 Public Announcement System is designed to work with different Snom handsets and supports either the headset or hands-free modes. An integrated 3.5mm jack is used to connect to headphones. Use of Snom’s proven SIP stack allows extensive compatibility with all SIP platforms.

Supports Power over Ethernet(PoE)

The Snom PA-1 Public Announcement System is a power – saving device which is equipped with 2  IEEE 802.3, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switches to enable the use of  Class 3 Power over Ethernet(PoE). In cases where PoE – enabled network is not being used, a user may require a PoE injector or a Standard Snom Power Supply Unit.

2 LED Indicators

Snom PA-1 Public Announcement System is equipped with dual – color LED lights which indicate the connection status of the Announcement System, as well as other details such as mode.

Applications for the Snom PA1 include:

  1. Large PA systems driven by external amplifier(s).
  2. Small PA systems driven by internal PA1 amplifier (eg. door answering system), and internal relay to open door(s).
