Boasting of an elegant and sleek design, the Logitech StreamCam has been primed to achieve the focal point of any room. The Logitech StreamCam comes in two available colors : black or light gray. It  measures 2.3 inches high, 1.9 inches wide, and 2.4 inches deep, and has a five-foot cable terminating in a USB-C plug. The front of the camera is made of a fabric cover with the Logitech logo on the bottom and an indicator LED behind the fabric in the upper right corner. It has an ability to record up to 1080p video at 60 frames per second in portrait, landscape, or square orientations picture modes. It includes a screen, tripod stands, and a capable software package that enables you easily tweak your video feed before you go live. The Logitech StreamCam is therefore a highly a powerful tool for avid streamers. 

The StreamCam features two microphones which enable you to record your voice in either mono or stereo. The in-camera mics deliver clean, balanced audio during sound recordings.

Logitech Capture enables you to change various recording settings on the StreamCam, like resolution (360p, 720p, or 1080p), frame rate (24, 25, 30, 50, or 60fps), and exposure and color correction. The software features toggles for automatic focus, white balance, image stabilization (which crops the picture a bit to prevent camera shake), and even automatic framing that tracks your face with a digital zoom effect. However you set up the picture, that’s what OBS, XSplit, or any other capture software will see if you use Logitech Capture as a source instead of the StreamCam itself.

The StreamCam detaches completely from either mount, not only so you can switch between them, but so you can use the camera in your choice or orientation. With the Logitech logo on the bottom of the front of the camera, it records in portrait orientation at up to 1,920 by 1,080 resolution and 60 frames per second. Rotating the camera counterclockwise 90 degrees and placing it back on the mount puts the logo on the right side, and lets it record 1080p60 video in landscape orientation. The StreamCam adjusts automatically depending on how it’s mounted.
